Conclusion and Next Steps

Once your site is launched and your strategies are ready to implement, you’ll need to maintain your site. A major part of site maintenance is to track what’s working and what isn’t. This doesn’t mean just marketing aspects, but also getting feedback from actual members on the technical aspects of the site, and whether or not your content is meeting their needs. Constantly strive to improve the experience of using your site.

Keep your focus on delivering value. It’s not just about getting people to sign up and pay to use your site. You need to deliver on the promises you made in your marketing. Always look for new ways to outperform your competitors and exceed your members’ expectations. Keep your marketing efforts going and look for new ways to reach potential members.

If your membership model means you’ll be creating regular content, you’ll need to spend time on this. A good way to do this is to create content in batches. Set aside time to work and produce what you’ll need for the next few weeks.

If your content creation needs are too much for you to handle, you can outsource. Hire a writer or writers on an ongoing basis and set up a workflow with them. Another option is to purchase high-quality PLR. This is pre-made content that you can then alter to suit your needs.

In this course, you learned:

  • How to identify your market’s needs so that you can produce the membership site they truly need to solve their problems
  • The different types of membership sites and how to choose the right one to deliver the content your audience needs
  • Your Unique Value Proposition, which explains succinctly the unique benefits you offer your audience
  • How to choose the right name for your membership site
  • What types of content you need to create for your membership site to make it valuable for your audience
  • What content you’ll deliver and when you’ll publish it for your members
  • Which membership platform is the right one to create a user-friendly and easy-to-run site with all of the features you need
  • How to set your pricing structure and determine whether it’s the right price or not
  • How to create a membership site sales page
  • About onboarding plans, and how to create a good onboarding process that will make a good first impression and help retain members
  • Tactics you can use to retain members and win back those who have left your membership site

Now, you’re ready to review your notes and get started building your successful membership site.

Activity:

  1. Review your notes and what you have learned so far.
  2. Identify the next steps that you will take to finish getting your membership site ready. Assign deadlines for each.
